Andrea Kitchen named Assistant Principal at Ramay Jr. High

Andrea Kitchen has been named as an assistant principal for Ramay Junior High. Kitchen’s new position with Fayetteville Public Schools was approved by the Fayetteville Board of Education at their June 27 meeting.

Kitchen has served Fayetteville Public Schools for the past twelve years as an English Language Arts teacher at McNair Middle School and as a teacher at Asbell Elementary School. This is her 17th year as an educator.

“We are excited to welcome Andrea Kitchen to the Ramay family,” said David Watkins, principal of Ramay Jr. High. “Her experiences in education with Fayetteville Public Schools will provide continuity, perspective, and a vision for moving students in a positive direction. Mrs. Kitchen is a person of high character with a great track record of success in education. Her leadership will make a difference with our students, staff and community.”

Kitchen received her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Park University in Parkville, MO, her master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Central Missouri, and her educational specialist degree from Arkansas State University.
