During A&E on Thursday, January 23, the FPS Associate Superintendent for Support Services Dr. Megan Slocum, with the Physical Plant and School Services Director David Tate and Assistant Director Nathan Parker, met with Fayetteville High School’s Engineering Club to share their leadership experiences with past and present district building projects. Dr. Slocum’s leadership team highlighted the roles of architects and engineers, and their collaboration with community stake-holders. In addition to being provided insight into the types of problem-solving decisions involved with facility design and management, students gained real-world advice on effective goal-setting and the value of teamwork.
